Get a ziploc type bag and put in enough vinegar so that when you tie it to the faucet the faucet head and screen are in the vinegar solution. Let sit overnight. Should help.

CLR works great put it in a plastic bag and use an elastic to fasten it to tour shower head or faucet let set 20-30 minutes and rinse and run some hot water thru.
