Probably built up dirt and wax. Open windows. Use one cup of ammonia to one gallon of hot water and a few squirts of Dawn dish liquid. It will remove built up dirt, grime, and wax. You may need to apply fresh wax. I do this once a month to my vinyl floor in between washings.

Here is another that works well for me. Use dishwasher soap. It has a whitening agent in it. I squirt some on rub it all over and then wipe it off. I use it for numerous things it even whitens yellowed material.

Thank you. I use pods. However, I will purchase some liquid and try it.
