What is the herb that discourage ants around peony bushes?

    If you don't have the ants you will be sorry. Ants help the Peonys open up.

    If you get rid of the ants you might as well get rid of the plants. No ants no flowers. Bknoland is right

    Yes...you need the ants...they eat the sticky substance on the flower head and then it opens...without the ants the flower will die before opening!! leave the ants alone they are doing their job!!

    Peony's have to have ants in order to bloom.
