I am growing some of my garden plants from seed this year. How do I care for the plants when the seed germinates but it is too soon to plant outside?

You can plant them in an indoor planter for the short term to get them started and then move them outside when the weather is right. Good luck!!

Seeds that are sown inside should be planted outside after your last expected frost date.

you might have to "pot them up a step" those shallow seed starting trays don"t really hold much water. or nutrition. i like to use plastic beverage cups the clear ones. that way i can see the water/ moister level. depending on when your last t average frost is... set them out about a week after. the online version of the old farmers almanac will calculate your areas average last frost date. key word-average. that's why i suggest a week after.
