How about giving it a makover? You can get stick on tile, or paint it with chalk paint (which requires no prep work), or add a fun wallpaper!
I agree with Shoshana. Paint can work wonders. Glue on some molding or appliqués or border tile to give it detail. Make it work for you!
I agree with Shoshana. I'd go to the hardware store get sandpaper to scuff it up good then tape and paper off around it and use a spray paint made for plastic to paint it in a nice even coat and add embellishments like wallpaper and then seal it, if desired. If you really can't see yourself liking it after a spruce up then disassembled it as much as possible moving it out piece by piece then move the body out, you would be amazed how light it would be once you take doors etc off.
Can you post some photos so we can get some ideas?
sorry no camera
Empty the cabinet and use a bed sheet under the cabinet to slide it out of your bathroom. Or even better, use a furniture dolly to move it. If you can't borrow a dolly, Lowe's, Home Depot, U-Haul and other places rent them, often by the hour. Maybe you will love your cabinet in a completely different area. Then get something you like for your bathroom, like an old chest of drawers or some nice new shelves. Best wishes!
Can you get the felt/plastic sliders to put under it and you can practically move it yourself? We put them under our armoire and it just slid across the floor very easily.......carpeted or tile or hardwood. Then you can paint the cabinet or put contact paper on it or even stick-on decorations.
