Can I grow pole beans in between my sweet corn for them to vine up on?

    Farmers used to do it all the time and some still do. You can also add a root crop. It is called the 3 sisters concept.

    Yes you can. The beans vine upon the corn and provide nitrogen for the corn to grow. You can also grow squash with the corn and beans. the squash makes a living mulch and cuts back on weeding and watering.
