I have a mature bird of Paradise plant that is in an ideal location, I have fertilized it and it has a sprinkler head very near so water is not a problem. I live in Florida, I can not think of anything else to do to coax it to bloom! I am open to all suggestions/help!
thanks,

usually a bird of paradise won't bloom if it is too young. If you've had it a while and it still won't bloom, may need a high phosphorus fertilizer or could be getting too little light. They need almost full sun.

You might have used a fertilizer to high in nitrogen which will produce leaves and not flowers. Look for fertilezer with a higher rate of phosphorus.
