How big should my started seeds be before planting then in the ground?

    You can tell that your seedling is ready to be transplanted when it has several sets of real leaves.

    At least one set of leaves fine, but most important is what the weather is doing outside..is it warm enough dung the night hours to sustain the plants? Can you cover the plants to protect them from overnight cooler temps?
