When I painted my bedroom a purple shade my daughter who worked at Home Depot at the time, showed me how to use a machine they had and you put your choice under the screen and it gives you several others that would look good with the color you choose. I wanted an off white but when she showed me how this bronze/brown looked with it I went with the off white and then changed it about year later and its been that way since. It is dark but great for night time, plus the room has big windows.

Do you currently have other colors in the room that you like.
Choose colors from nature: a green, a bronze, a lilac, a gray. Or go wild and throw in a lime, or an orange.
How about mellow yellow

turquoise-lemon-pinks(blush)-rasberry-strawberry -gold-white-cream
celery green or light sage.
