What is the best way to remove wallpaper?
I don’t want to leave tracks in the drywall as I did previously in a different room.
Spray with water (can put a drop or two of fabric softener in it) and wait! That is the key. Let it soak in for several minutes or more. Use a flat plastic scraper. It should come off easily. Re-soak as needed. It really should come off easily if you have it wet enough.
I agree, we just took down all the wallpaper in our basement. I used a mixture of vinegar and warm water, sprayed it down very well and wiped it on with clothes to get it really wet and let it soak in for a few minutes and it peeled off for the most part in large sheets.
Thank you ladies, you have been very helpful!!!
