How can I spruce up my microwave cart?

It's a plain white and laminate wood color, I want it to kind of stand out in my kitchen

    Chalk paint is great because you don't need any primer and you can just do a quick, minimal sand to prepare the surface. You could use sandpaper after painting to give it a distressed look in some areas. Or, you could cover it in contact paper in a nice design or even cover it in decorative napkins using mod podge or cover it with scrap book paper using mod podge and a sealer coat on top.

    Dysko7710 has some good ideas. Maybe you could paint the cart a high glass color like red or back. I like the idea of using Unicorn Spit to have an absolutely original color. And there are various metallic paints and treatments to make your cart match your appliances. Don't forget to clean and shine the wheels and hardware. Gather many ideas before you decide. If you don't like what you chose, choose another and start over. Best wishes!

      They are. Here are some more. I personally love the soft moss green from the 50's but retro red works, too.
