What are the lighting conditions and what planting zone are you in? How much space is there?

If it is a sunny area, I would put lavender. Smells good and is food for butterflies, bees. You would have to trim it or plant back from the edge of the driveway.
  • I would recommend boxwoods are they are relatively slow growing and can be shaped nicely as they grow.
