What chemical cleans tile grout the best?

I have a client's shower stall that has so much "black" on his shower stall grout - the only way I see it getting cleaned - is with a grout remover attachment ( lightly ) and a grout refill - or a total brush scrub down and paint the grout. I've tried all the useless grout cleaning solutions out there - but just wondering if someone has a magic solution? lol Thanks in Advance :)

I've had success with bleach- just make sure to ventilate so you don't get sick. good luck!

The black is mold. Ventilation/fan or leaving the door ajar while showering is imperative. I make a paste (loose) with comet, bleach & water, paint it on with a 2" paint brush . After a few minutes take a scrub brush dunked in hot water & scrub away!
