How do I get the baby aloe vera plants from the mother plant?

I want to start the baby plants but I don't know how to get them from the big plant . I don't want to hurt them.

aloe is very hardy, separate at the base gently. its easiest to remove the whole plant from the pot or if in the ground, dig around it.
I just separated them. I do not think you can kill aloe vera, I know that they need water because I killed mine.
Gently break the baby away from the mother plant and plant in succulent soil.Succulents req.ire very little water as they retain moisture through there thick leaves.
You can't hurt them, just pull them apart and as long as they have the root, it will grow. They are very easy to separate. Always water after planting! They love bright light and can grow in direct sun but, are better in an eastern exposure in bright light.
