Please suggest a perennial plant for my flower garden.

I live in the South and absolutely love flowers. I would like to have something blooming all year.

Perennial gardens start with early spring, spring, early summer, summer, early fall, and fall.So to be honest with you it would be in your best interest to decide exactly what your goal is.

I live in South Carolina, and I have lots of lavender plants that bloom for quite awhile . I am not sure of anything that will literally bloom all year....but you might also look at everblooming hydrangeas. They do really well...and even after they stop blooming, the dried flowers are amazing and decorative.
