Hi Tan, There are manufactured oven cleaners that you can spray on and wipe off. It's a little too toxic for use in my home, so I use a wash rag and Soft Scrub to clean my oven rack regularly then just rinse it off. If there is build up I use steel wool with the Soft Scrub.

Years ago a lady once told me to place the oven rack into a heavy garbage bag then place some ammonia in with it. I would use a heavy duty old pan, pour about a cup of ammonia into it then place it underneath the rack then tie the garbage bag up tightly. Leave it sit for about an hour then check it. Anything on the rack should come off easily. Leave it sitting longer if necessary. Of course you will have to be very careful using this around children or pets. And make sure you discard the ammonia properly. And be careful of the fumes. I have been lucky enough not to have to use this method in a lot of years but it did work. Good luck with whichever method you choose.
