You are not alone in this problem. One solution I've heard of is the Juicy Fruit trick. Place a stick of unwrapped gum in several of the mole hills. The critters will eat the gum but cannot digest it. Leave the bodies in the hole and other moles will not move in.
    Best of luck!

Get a cat. Mine have done a fine job of reducing the vole population in my back yard. Just don't leave your back door open, or yours might bring you a vole so you can practice your hunting skills...

Last year we purchased a container of Mole Mace. Its a caster oil product, not poisonous to other animals. You mix it in the soil, we used a tined garden fork. When we dug up bulbs in the fall they had not been eaten and the tunnels all disappeared. I gave it 5 stars!! We've already reapplied this spring. Our irises and peonies that had been damaged last spring recovered by late summer and look great this spring.

Plant garlic bulbs in their trails. I took a stick made a small hole in a tunnel and used the stick to push it in. I did have garlic growing for a season. Over the winter they all disappeared. And I'm still mole free.
