I haven't had mildew on my rosemary but I do get spider mites that will make the plant look horrid and die. I was told to take water hose to it, hardest setting the plant will take every so often to knock them off and so far so good. Hope someone answers about the mildew, I do so love my rosemary and love to swipe my hands across it when I walk by to stir up that lovely smell but would NOT want to have mildew on my hands or smell it in the air!

controllPowdery Mildew is a pathogen that lives in the soil. it is very hard to control a lot of plants are susceptible to it. Lilacs and other shrubs too . Hover some are killed by it like Squash. I have found that a 50/50 mixture of milk and water sprayed on the plant deters its spread and some what keeps it in control I also think Sulphur is used in it's control
