Box garden? Not exactly sure what you are asking.Raised garden perhaps????
We used Decking boards Screwed together at the corners with Dry wall screws . and then Angle Iron corners screwed in with lag bolts., built boxes - 2 ft wide, 12 inches tall x 12 ft long... flat metal plate screwed in middle of the long section to hold the 2 boards together, then a piece of Rebar cut and pounded by the metal plate to keep the center from bowing out.. You can make these Higher too and shorter.. or any size... too wide and you will be reaching too far over ... we have boxes in Garden + boxes for Asparagus, Strawberries, Chives, rhubarb, and our Raspberries.. and hubby is planting his Thorn less Black berries in Boxes too.. We put slabs of old newspapers in bottom of the boxes then added Garden soil and compost mixed together to fill the boxes about 4 inches from the top.. as it settles each year we add more compost.. We even grew potatoes, onions, Celery and Garlic, peppers, Green and Yellow Beans, Brussels Sprouts, and Cauliflower , beets, Lettuce etc. in these boxes..
