I have acquired 3 old carpenters hand saws. How can I remove the rust and make them shine again and keep them that way please?

As long as you are cleaning up the blades, why not sand or file the handles, even plastic ones. Repaint them thei original colors or stains, or do something decorative, like painting them all red. When you display them, they will look more like a collection. Best wishes!

Thank you . Today I saw a video on the internet where someone had a rusty pan . He used coca-cola and aluminium foil. I wonder if that would work with my saws? Does anyone know ?

Almost any soft acid (Coke, vinegar) and abrasive (foil, steel wool, scratchy sponge) will make a good cleaner. I like to add a few drops of Dawn dishwashing liquid because some of the crust on a pan is probably grease).
