This DIY organizer is EXACTLY what your bedroom NEEDS! (A great last minute Mother’s Day gift too!) Are you scratching your head trying to think of what you should get mom? Well why not consider something handmade. My mom is obsessed with perfume. Every birthday, Christmas, Mother's Day regift request is contastly perfume. This year I said no. LOL you don't need any more perfume. So I decided to make something for my mom. I decided to make something she could use to organize her perfume bottles and makeup. Here's what I did.
First mark out the placement of the pieces so that everything lines up. Marking the placement saves a lot of headache in the long run and speeds up the process of putting everything together.
For this project you can assemble using pocket screws or nails or SPAX screws.
Start my assembling the middle shelf. Attach the long divider to the middle shelf before attaching it to the side panel.
Attach the middle shelf to the side panel then attach the 2nd side panel. Once the organizer is assembled its time to put together the drawer.
Once everything is assembled its time to make it pretty. I spray painted the organizer with this Robin's Egg spray paint by Rust-Oleum.
Have fun with the drawer pulls. You don't have to use the traditional drawer pull or knobs. I am using a cord/ribbon I found in the fabric/ribbon section of Hobby Lobby.
