Hello Paula, is the swing under warranty? Perhaps they can help you. If not, this is easy to do, just buy the rolls of material, color you choose, and weave them in and over the items going the other way, then, you can leave extra at the end, and fold over. This is easy to do, and when you get done, you will be so pleased, I promise you. You can make your own pattern, perhaps the pattern of your last name initial, or a nick name in the braids. You will enjoy this. Be different, be challanging, and make yours different from any other one, that you have seen, ok? Enjoy, and let yours be different. J.

We bought a cushion for our swing from Amazon but depending on the size you need, Walmart has pretty ones. If you are referring to the weaving on the swing, you can rivet the loose ends together or I think you can buy the plastic strapping and redo the part that needs it.

What kind of "weight supporting" material is your swing seat made of? There are different kinds used by different manufacturers. I have 2 different ones myself. One has a plastic mesh like frequently used on lawn chairs that seats & backs are solid as in single pieces. The other one is made of canvas. Some outdoor chairs have thick vinyl strips that are applied in a woven or horizontal pattern. Still others use plastic mesh type strips that are applied in woven pattern akin to old aluminum folding lawn chairs.

If you will post or send me a picture of your swing, I will be happy to suggest best way to fix & fit it with new seat/back material. If you need my email address, I'll send it to you.
