I would purchase rug pads, available almost everywhere, Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Lowes, and cut to size, place under chairs, no more sliding.
Have you tried putting felt pads underneath your chairs?
My in-laws had the same issue with their laminate floors. I would find some of that rough, rubbery cabinet liner ( the same type of material is also used for rugs, so they don't slip) and put that under your recliners. I hope it works for you!
You can get the rubber pads at the dollar store as place mats.
Buy the rubber pads at a dollar store. If there are no pads available, buy a sheet of it and cut it yourself to the size you want. Don't buy felt as that will make the chair move even easier! Felt pads are used to protect floors from scratching.
