Many uses for Windex- can I use it on wood floors?

Windex works on most surfaces. Would it be safe to spray on a wood floor and use a slightly damp microfiber cloth for cleaning?

There are mixed views. Here is a Q/A site that will give you the pros and cons. Just don't do like an ex roomie did and clean the cutting boards with it. Nothing like ingesting ammonia...

It would work, but a better floor cleaner is water, white vinegar and a little ammonia. Check the internet for the correct ratio.
I would not recommended using windex on wood flooring.Try using the wood care system by bona.
