I have a potted lemon tree. I want to plant something else in the pot under the tree. What do you recommend?

Marigolds, petunias, lemon balm, mint and thyme are good companion plants for lemon.

I would go with thyme as I love the look spilling over the top and trailing down. Plus yummy to cook with too.

Since it is potted and not in the ground anything can be planted based on the lighting.
