I need a homemade mix to kill fungus on crepe myrtle trees?

Years ago someone told me that you can mix murphys oil soap and something else to spray on the trunk and leaves, leave it on over night and then rise off prior to full daylight. Does anyone know of a mixture like this and better instructions, I could sure you some help.

i don't know about the murphys oil recipe, but I do know that neem oil is very good for all plant and trees, and very inexpensive to use, and biologicallily freindly. It only takes 4tsps of neem oil and 2 tsps dish soap ( as a sticker agent) per gallon of water! I use it on everything from roses to fruit trees! Works on funguses, pretty much all diseases and insects!
