Alice, I don't know where you live, but in north Texas, we have house foundation problems, uneven and cracked sidewalks, and in drought times, big cracks in our yards. I live in a nice suburb and I use a walker. I can not walk to either end of our block without stepping over many cracks and tilted sidewalk squares. What some people use is Sacrete to fill in the cracks. But when the sidewalk in front of our house gets bad enough, we contract with the city to break up and replace all the bad pieces, repairing the foundations of the sidewalk and any water or other lines that may have sunk or risen too far. We pay half and the city pays half, and it is not cheap. See what sources are available to you in your area. And best wishes.

Use a concrete crack filling caulk available the dome improvement stores.

  • If city maintained sidewalks, call them and they will come out and fix. If not they sell concrete filler at any home improvement store.
