Allergy free plants for small containers?

Naomie Moore aka baileyanddaisey, Castaic CACori WidenDfm

I have severe allergies but want to have live plants in front of my modular home. Also have a very small space for containers so need guidance on plants which could be allergy free and thrive in a small container. I get full sun all day. that's the extent of my gardening knowledge.

Succulents are good, should be allergy free too, try aloe Vera etc or visit a specialist nursery, don't need much attention and do well in pots.

Cacti and succulents would be your best choice.

    How about some herbs? Parsley?
  • If you have been tested properly, your allergist will be able to guide you too. I would give them a call first. I would also visit a good nursery in town and let them help you too - you will be amazed what you can have growing with minimal effort in spite of your allergies.
