What color antique wicker pieces?

I have several pieces of antique wicker furniture painted white--dining table, chairs, settee, chaise, fernery, odd tables etc. Would like to use them in a Sun Room and a Screened Porch. A Breakfast room is between the two rooms with a Country French stained table and chairs--chairs will have new chair pads. The Screened Porch is directly off the Great Room with Traditional style furniture, an oriental rug in tan , coral and green. What color should I paint the furniture--all neutral (tan) to be interchangeable between the two rooms, leave it white or something more colorful? I will need to replace cushions on all the pieces wicker pieces.

Perhaps painting them a neutral tan would be appropriate, and instead of trying to coordinate those painted pieces to the two room, you can just have interchangeable cushions that do that for you. Or reversible cushions! :)

Great idea to have reversible cushions--can move pieces from room to room. Thanks!

Trying again, my answer seemed to have disappeared!

Yes, I would think painting the furniture a neutral tone would be the best idea, instead of trying to coordinate them to each room. Use the cushions to do that for you...or reversible cushions!

Thanks for the reversible cushion idea. Had not thought of that. Then I could move piece from one room to the other as wanted/needed. Thanks.

Definitely neutral then it leaves you open to interchange between the two rooms. And reversible cushions would help transition between the two rooms and theor different colors.

minty green is always a refreshing color in any sunny room Try one and if you don't like the effect you could always paint it over I would test a side table or a planter

Thanks for the idea. I have seen some very pretty soft green pieces in the decorating magazines lately. Maybe the fernery painted green even if the other pieces are another color--pick a green shade that is in the fabric in the cushions. Thanks.
