Don't know the variety it's probably about 6 years old and planted next to my house on the northwest side I've tried printing it this year I've never proved it before but I decided to print it and see if that helped prune

Freezing late spring pruning and wrong area Zone will cause them not to bloom . If your area have freezing you must protect your flowers all of them and veggies too. But some plants need pruning if you are not sure ask online . But you might also be in the Wrong Zone area for this flower. Try these suggestions

6 years old. I had never pruned it and I had blooms for three years. It gets afternoon sun. I never fertilized it. This spring I pruned and fertilized. Perhaps that will help.
