How do you remove one floating floor plank to fix a pop up nail?

We have installed a floating floor planks in the living/dining/kitchen area. Underneath is a crawlspace. After about 1 week we saw a quarter size circle protruding up in the planks. We carefully cut the protruding circle with hopes that we could take out the nail or whatever it was. The nail cannot be pulled out from the crawlspace. We tried to hammer it down. It worked. We glued the cut circle back in but it doesn't look good. How do you remove a floating floor plank without taking apart the entire floor to fix the popped up nail?
