    Your boss bush has a fungus. Apply a systemic rose Fungicide from Bayer

    Mix in 1 gallon of warm water 3 tablespoons of baking soda with 1 teaspoon of Murphy's soap and spray both sides of rose leaves.

    Plant garlic chives under and near your bush. It will keep the aphids off which will keep the ants away which will allow the plant to thrive under its own immune support. Also water it daily or every other day; roses like lots of water and well drained soil. No pesticides needed; you won't have to battle cancer later. ;o}

    Use Bayer 3 in 1 which is a systemic treatment for black spot and powdery mildew. You put in in the ground near the plant roots. Try to water directly on the roots rather than spraying the leaves. Water in the am, not the evening if possible.
