About 1/2 acre, you need some sweet potatoes in there and they take space, or other vegetable that produces substantial calories. Almost certainly you need chickens, which will recycle kitchen and garden scraps efficiently, and provide some fats. You may consider having black soldier fly bins, to recycle your and the chicken's excrement into high fat chicken feed. You need a fence and an electric fence to keep out deer, and perhaps a rifle to get some meat and fat out of them. You also need serious defenses for the chickens.
