Any ideas for a great use for an unusedchain link dog lot attached to

You could enclose your garden. You could use it as a trellis for climbing plant clematis, honeysuckl, trumpet vine and many others.

Purpose? As a dog lot or something else? Size? Covered or not? Existing ground cover?

Plant climbing roses or vines. It won't take too long before the fence is a living wall!

I have a covered one, which I wrapped in heavy duty plastic, and used it for a winter greenhouse/safe storage for my potted plants. I have a shop light on tripod legs, that I turned on at night, and it provided enough heat to keep any plants from freezing. Now I have a regular greenhouse, so, now I use the old lot for storing lawn equipment, bicycles, etc., and added a padlock to guard against theft.
