DIY Stamp Swizzle Sticks

3 Materials
Another great post that was shared on Heart Handmade UK; a fab guest post by Ayda Algin for the Free Craft Magazines available via the blog. Ayda created these DIY swizzle sticks to go along with our outdoor dining theme, especially for the Summer season. This project, in particular, is SO simple that we ended up adding 2 more super simple DIY projects for your summer parties over on the blog. If you're stuck for time then these are perfect for you to make, especially if you have some parties coming up this summer or even if you're having friends over for a barbeque this summer.
Are you hosting any parties this summer? You could find some beautiful decorative stamps or even scrapbook embellishments and create some swizzle sticks for drinks so people can easily identify their drinks!
The project is insanely simple. You need dowel rods, some decorative embellishments or pretty stamps and uhu glue.
Stick together and secure to the dowel rods.
Allow to dry and you are all ready to go!
Seriously, how simple was that? You could do that in about 5 minutes. You could even give your kids a job to do! The project could still be great for kids to do and use as little flags or just something fun to do. Make sure they don't poke their eyes out.
If you like this tutorial I would love for you to check out the other two DIY projects; painted placemats and pretty painted coasters! They're all really simple projects that can ALL be done in under an hour. When time is so precious then high ROI DIY projects that can be done quickly are exactly what the doctor ordered. You can host a beautiful party and not need to worry about spending hours crafting to get the gorgeous handmade look.
