My grapevine died. How do I restart one?

I have two posts standing and a wire that it ran on when I moved here.

Find out what varieties of grapes grow well in your area and choose one you like. If you are unsure whether your grapevine died of a disease don't plant a new one in the same place. Move your planting spot and use new soil. That might mean you need to move at least one of the posts, or plant the new one near a fence or trellis.
