Can you grow rhubarb in Florida?

    Hi Sandra! Yes you can. We live in Central Florida, my sister and I had bought some plants at Lowes and while mine didn't do so well haha, my garden gets full sun. My sisters rhubarb that gets more filtered sun is about 3 feet tall and doing great! Now I am just waiting for her to make a strawberry rhubarb pie!!!

    Rhubarb loves cool temps and lots of manure. It needs a lot of 'feeding' and water. Where I live it practically grows wild as I live on the 'wet coast' of Canada. If you have a 'coolish' time of the year in Florida that is the best time to plant it.
