What exactly are you trying to do?
Take off the carpet and just expose the concrete flooring
Ana, the process should be pretty straight forward. The concrete may have been sealed, and the padding will almost certainly be glued down. You can scrape up the glue and maybe even use an abrasive (light sanding). How "bare" do you want the concrete?
