I've already been using baking soda and vinegar. While these help, I can't get rid of the odor!

I can sympathize... my daughter has a little dog that has had occasional accidents. We keep pee pads down for her now. But, for the previous accidents, I've used the febreeze deodorizer. Really soak the spot well, just let it dry naturally. It's worked well.

I had a senior cat on medication and when he had to go, he had to go. Vinegar/water will neutralize the urine, hydrogen peroxide/baking soda will clean the carpet.

Nature's Miracle liquid comes in a gallon size and often goes on sale at the pet supply chains, and sometimes on Amazon. Soak up what urine you can and soak the soiled area with the Nature's Miracle. Let it air dry. This takes a few days or up to a week to kill the smell, so keep the dog away. Also, make sure the dog isn't sick with a bladder infection or stones so everything doesn't start all over again

I have also used Nature's Miracle in a rented carpet cleaner, added to the water and soap solution with great results. They also make a carpet shampoo, though I've not tried it yet.

Hire a pro who uses a water claw to remove contamination in the pad. That's where it is, that's where you can't clean.
