So do I, I've decided to take out the medicine cabinet. Fill the hole that left with dry wall. Then after I put a base coat of very pale blue, I'll paint horizontal waves. Then I am going to either put a cluster of fish on it or paint them on it. I will put in a pedestal sink that has a shell look to it. There are a lot of shell looking rugs available and things from the sea (beach theme) for décor.

Do you have a picture on the wall? Accessories with a bright carpet and towels.
I have a very small narrow bathroom. I used paint to "extend" the ceiling down the wall with a couple shades lighter paint.
