Does dishwashersoap clean grease from kitchen cabinets?

I wouldn't use soap for the dishwasher because it is caustic. Murphy's is good, but if you've got a tough grease problem, something like Dawn would be better and it won't strip the finish.
I like to used Simple Green.
I have used Simple Greenand it works very well.

Yes, Dawn dish soap will work, but I use vinegar. It will cut through grease.
