I have used just vinegar and water. I ave also used this on a paper towel and stuck it on the glass so it has a chance to soak a bit. If you can remove the shower door, lay it flat in the yard or somewhere and spray. Let soak for about 15 or 20 minutes. We have very hard water and this also worked on shower curtains.

I use a bunch of used fabric softener sheets and a 50/50 mix of vinegar and water. For heavy deposits use straight vinegar no water. The remaining softener in the sheet will also slow down the build up.

My mother always used white vinegar and water, 50/50, but used dishwasher soap as well (Cascade, etc.), about one to two teaspoons.

Try this and let me know how it goes. Spray bottle 50 50 hydrogen peroxide water spray on door (forgot take door down) dust with baking soda. Empty bottle into bowl, just in case. Now fill bottle with 60 white vinger 40 water. Spray and let chemicals go to work . I can not promise it will work but I did that on a shower door my old land lord would not change out. I was very young and my mom told my to try it . It worked!

Magic Clean Erasers. Originally I tried all kinds of cleaners on my shower doors. Then I tried the easiest route, magic clean erasers, and they are magic on shower doors. You must rinse the doors well and dry after using the eraser otherwise it will leave a hazy film.

Don't know if this will work on your shower doors, but when I first got married we bought an ancient fixer-upper with old windows that hadn't been cleaned since the Coolidge administration. A friend suggested comet cleanser and an old t-shirt after spraying the glass with plain water. I figured it would probably scratch, but I really had nothing to lose by trying. It was a miracle. Just use a circular scrubbing motion and don't rub harder than is needed. Give it a shot. the worst that could happen is that you'll have to replace the doors, which you probably already were considering anyway.

I used a mixture of baking soda, 2 drops of Dawn, white vinegar and water in a spray bottle, don't shake bottle, spray on for about 15-20 min then wipe and rinse of, then after the last shower at night spray with half vinegar and half water to keep from soap build up.

Product sold on QVC & EBay called Bio Cleaner. Ck it out! QVC only sells it in a 3 pk, however you can purchase just 1 tub on EBay $10 + shipping. It's clay from France with lemon, etc additives. Bonus. . .this product should last you a long time as you don't need much to clean whatever!

Have used this product to clean the white hard to remove residue from the glass on our fireplace (propane). Removed it with very little effort on my part. Great on stainless steel sinks too!

Product called Bio Clean (see below) on EBay $10 + ship for one container. We got ours on QVC which only sells 3 in a pkg + ship. French "clay" with lemon, etc additives.

Used it to clean the glass on our propane fireplace. Tried other products but this got rid of the hard to remove white residue on the glass. Does a great job on stainless sinks as well.
