How do I build a small, solar powered backyard waterfall and pond?

My grandson and I have been collecting rocks and think we now have enough to build my waterfall and pond in my backyard. I have no idea how to start and what other equipment I need. I want the pond to be about the size of the small plastic swimming pool that Wal Mart sells. Any guidance would be appreciated.

You need a solar powered pump to get the water from the pond portion up through tubing or pipes to the top of the waterfall. Check out Pinterest and visit a few pool stores or outdoor accessory stores that sell pond pumps. They can give you a complete supply list. Great project!
