You can usually chill them and then reuse them- check it out!
Waste of time to try and re-use the dead bulbs.
I do not understand what you are asking ? Do you want to transplant the bulbs.
Take them up, clean off dirt as much as possible place in paper bag is a cool dry place .
replant them in the fall before the first frost. So you live in Ca.? No problem , plant them in October!
What is your criteria for the term "dead" - are they just bloomed out?
