Roadside Rescue- A Chair Update

B
by B
A roadside rescue chair gets a faux French grain sack chair seat and a new paint finish.
This chair was a roadside rescue. It was yucky, but solid.
After I cleaned it, I painted it Aubusson Blue.
Next, I color washed, heavily distressed and top coated it. For more details please see the link to my blog.
I found the center of the chair seat and fabric, then taped it. Next I added tape on either side and pulled the center tape up to reveal the space for my center line that I want to paint.
I added two more tape lines that were smaller in width. I painted inside these lines.
My fabric was a drop cloth. This reveals the faux French grain sack fabric. For additional details please see the link to my blog.
