Painted Kitchen Cabinets

In the late 1970's we moved into a very run down Victorian. To save money we did whatever we could ourselves. The kitchen had been remodeled in the '50's when a doctor lived there, when he moved the house was allowed to deteriorate badly. Instead of ripping out the '50's cabinets and replacing them at a cost of almost $5,000.00, I painted them. Some people don't like them, most people do. I totally enjoyed painting them and have enjoyed them every day for the last 34 years. I hope you enjoy them and understand the whimsy and fun behind them being painted in such a non traditional way. The 2nd and 3rd photos are a close up of the ladies in the corner watching an egg hatch.
