Everyone like to eat, drink or surf in internet on couch or armchair, or in bed. I present the clever project which will help with those activities. It's simple but very helpful thing.
On this video I'm showing how to make and how to use the table.
As You can see it can be used on a couch, during reading or watching tv
The table can also fit to be used on almost every armchair.
OK, so let's start the project.
First You need to prepare 13x1,5inch slats (35x4cm) from any type of wood. Keep in mind, the slats should be thin. I think the best size is 0.3-0.5 of inch.
The slat could be made by made on your own, but I recommend buying them at a local store. It will be easier and they will be already sanded and really flat.
You need to prepare 8 slats with the dimensions I gave above and one three times wider than the rest. It will be for the center of the table.
The next step is to paint the wood. I recommend the stain be based of oil & terpentine (not oil paint) because such mixtures are a lot easier to use than water based stains.
In my project I also cover the color coat with spray lacquer to provide additional protection. You will probably use your table to drink coffee so it should be easy to clean if you were to spill by accident.
After the wood will dry, take the strong two sided tape and glue it to the bottom of the table. To bee sure that the slats are in proper position, use a wood clamp to tighten them temporary.
Now the last step. Take the fabric (i used artificial leather for the project) and glue it to the other side of two sided glue tape.

The last step...gluing the fabric
That's all. Your table is ready for use. If you have some question & or find any trouble feel free to ask me in the comments or watch the video to learn even more :)

This is great. I'm definitely keeping this on the back burner as a project. Thanks for sharing!
