Weeds-mix vinegar, table salt and water and spray them. Just be careful when spraying because this mix kills very effectively.

Roaches-use Boric Acid. Sprinkle it around where you see Roach activity.

Spiders-Go to a health food store and buy some Peppermint Essential Oil. Add 10-12 drops to a small spray bottle full of water and spray around all points of entry in your home. You can also use it directly on any spider you see. Gets rid of them fast.

If you have spot weeds like mixed in with flowers, boil two cups of water in your microwave to a rolling boil, maybe 5 minutes. Take it directly outside and pour on the weeds. You can almost sit and watch them die, you just boiled them to death.
Be very careful with the boiling water, do it when no one is around to talk or distract you with so you don't burn yourself. I did it yesterday afternoon on a large weed growing with our knockout roses. This morning, it was DOA, but it was quite wilted about 730 last night, 4 hours later. No damage to anything else. When the dirt cools in 10 minutes, it is safe to plant anything you want. No chemicals to kill freshly planted whatever you want.
