Decoupage some pretty paper over the box and then fill it with baby items.
I'm sorry, but you want to give someone a cardboard box as a gift??
Those are such sturdy boxes - with a lid, too! The easiest thing I've used is contact paper, with a very muted design, but not a plain color. Or maybe get pink, yellow, and light blue, and cut it in strips that are long enough to cover about 3" on the bottom and then go up the sides of the box and down the inside to the bottom . For the bottom of your box use any one of your colors, and cut to fit. Do the lid the same way, so that you end up just cutting one of your colors for the inside top of the lid. Or use heavy gift wrapping paper in a baby design and glue on. Or if you really like, you could use a quilted baby fabric, glue it all over your box, and then fill the box with the same quilted fabric, edged with lace or trim that you iron on. And that handmade baby blanket is a lovely gift in a lovely box. Good luck!
Thank you so much!!! I really like this idea.
These are great ideas. There is never enough storage for all the baby stuff. The decorated boxes will be great latter to store all the things baby has outgrown. i loved getting hand me downs as so many things are only worn once or twice. Think how special they will be in the cute boxes.
