Rinse with warm water and dry with a soft cloth afterwards. To make the item shine, rub it with a mixture of flour, coarse salt and vinegar, and then polish with a soft cloth.

Bicard of Soda. Put some on a plate @ mix into a past. Put on a rag and rub. Keep rubbing till the lantern is all clean. You may need to use some more Bicarb past. When clean, rince off, then wipe driy @ pollish with a soft cloth. Alternately, white vinigar @ salt. Keep rubbing till the lantern is clean, rince off then dry @ polish witha soft cloth. Do not use harsh cemicals as they may scratch/mark and course pitting in the metel Good luck! Hope this helps. Kay Adelaide Australia
